Hey Church,

We have spoken a lot in past few weeks about the need for stronger corporate prayer in our congregation. I think it's time to do something to boost our commitment to directed, focused prayer as a church body. I will be starting "home prayer gatherings". Right now we are organizing these for Keel Mtn. residents. (Even if you don't live on Keel Mtn, you are welcome to attend!)

These will be held every Thursday evening from 7-7:30 PM.

Amanda and I would like to kick this off by hosting a prayer gathering at our house this Thursday at 7PM.

Here's the schedule as it stands right now:

First Thursday of the month: Norman and Amanda Duffell Home Second Thursday of the month: Bill and Celia Dear Home Third Thursday of the month: Gary and Karen Kern Home Fourth Thursday of the month: Bob and Sharon Sentell Home

Me and Amanda will pick up the fifth Thursday night in October.

Each week will have it's own special prayer focus like:

Outreach, Church leadership, Ministries, Salvation Requests, etc.

This Thursday's focus will be to pray for our church leadership.

I think this could be the start of something great for our church! Just think, we could have weekly prayer meetings on Keel Mountain, in Gurley, Killingsworth Cove and wherever!
